Greenleaf Family Center Juvenile Diversion Staff Wins Community Recognition Award
Greenleaf Family Center would like to congratulate Robert Grizzard, Licensed Social Worker, on receiving the Legacy III Community Recognition Award for his work with the Teens on Task Juvenile Diversion Program.
Teens on Task provides parents and youths an opportunity to manage problems in a realistic, sensitive and practical way through individual and at times group counseling. The program is offered in collaboration with the Summit County Juvenile Court Diversion Program and is designed to give first time youth offenders an opportunity to have their charges expunged if they follow the recommendations of the Court.
The Legacy III selection committee reviewed nominees who demonstrate one or more of the following virtues for the Community Recognition Award: Accountability-being a responsible steward of all resources entrusted to one’s care, including the lives of the citizens served; Compassion-demonstrating empathy for others’ difficulties and providing assistance to help them become productive citizens of society; Dignity-treating others in a manner that is consistent with esteem, honor and worthiness; Integrity-firmly upholding the high standard of excellence by providing quality, effective, and cost-efficient services that benefit the greater good of mankind; and Respect-demonstrating consideration, appreciation and kindness.
Greenleaf Family Center is proud to congratulate Robert on this esteemed award and to continuously have quality staff recognized for their efforts.
