NEW - Teen Anger Management Group

Starting Monday, May 4, Greenleaf is bringing back our Teen Anger Management Group. 
This 12‑session weekly group is designed to help teens, 13-17, better understand their anger, while developing practical skills they can use every day.

Topics we discuss include:

Understanding different styles of anger | Healthy communication skills | Setting and maintaining healthy boundaries | Practical coping tools and strategies teens can use outside of group I Interpersonal conflict | Emotion regulation and management

 Details:

  • Starts Mon., May 4, 5-6 p.m. and continues each Monday
  • New participants enrolled on a rolling basis, starting when they are ready and ending 12 weeks later
  • Groups are limited to eight participants, so they fill up quickly. We will keep an ongoing waitlist and fill open spots as the become available.
     

Requirements and Costs:

  • Teens are required to undergo an assessment by the Greenleaf behavioral health team to determine admittance to the program. Greenleaf will reach out to arrange each assessment. 
  • To refer someone, please call or use the Contact Us buttons. 
  • Current clients of Greenleaf should discuss participation with their counselor for referral if they are interested. 
  • Cost of the program includes a one-time assessment fee (if not covered by insurance) and a $40/group session fee ($480 for 12 weeks). For those with Medicaid, group sessions are covered.
