Greenleaf Family Center is considered an essential human service agency and though our Governor has issued a Stay at Home Order to reduce the risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus we are still serving our clients!
Our services may look different, but we assure you we will continue providing the essential services you need and want during this time. To contact us to schedule or reschedule an appointment, our switchboard is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and Friday mornings, 9 am until 12:00 noon. Outside of these hours, please leave a voicemail and we will return your call.
Behavioral Health Appointments – Greenleaf is now providing counseling appointments through Telehealth which enables our clinicians to provide HIPPA compliant services to our clients over the phone, so you don’t have to come into the office. Your clinician will call you during your scheduled appointment time at your preferred number and our group clients will be served this way too! We are also doing individual assessments when appropriate or requested at this time via Telehealth. Our behavioral health department is accepting new clients. You may continue to call the office to schedule appointments. Should you receive our recorded message, rest assured we will return your call! Our Behavioral Health appointment hours are between 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday through Thursday.
Community Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing - Coronavirus has impacted the lives of Greenleaf Family Center’s Community Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program (CSD). We are doing our best to ensure that the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind community has vital communication access. With social distancing in place and many cancellations, we will be sending our staff interpreters home and utilizing them as much as we can to meet your interpreting needs. We appreciate your patience during this time. If you have any questions, please feel free to call our general office Video Phone at 234-525-6176 or email us at email@example.com. OOD referred case management will only be in the office Monday-Thursday and by appointment only. For your safety, we strongly encourage Video Phone appointments unless there is paperwork that must be signed. For case management appointments, please call Mark Byrd at 234-525-6207. As more changes come, we will keep you posted via email, or via vlog on Facebook.
Our Adolescent Suicide Prevention Program (ASPP) is unable to offer classroom services but we are working to develop plans to continue educating and supporting area youth. Please contact Daniel Bennett at (330) 376-9494, ext. 211 with questions or ideas.
Our PEERS Parent Advocates are continuing to support families by phone and in community meetings through teleconference. If you need PEERS services, please contact April Brewer, Director of Prevention and Community Services at (330) 376-9494, ext.221.
Our Moms and Babies First Program cannot offer face to face home visits to our clients until further notice pursuant to an order from the State Department of Health. Our clients will have full access to their Community Health Worker (CHW) via telephone (cell phone included), email, and Face Time. We are still accepting agency referrals and new clients. We are working to ensure the safety and health of our families during this difficult time. If for some reason you are unable to reach your CHW, please call Michelle Watkins, Program Director at (330)-606-2043. For referrals to the Moms and Babies First Program, please go to HMGreferrals@helpmegrow.org or call 330-376-9494 ext. 232.
