Sue Pierson has worked in social services since the mid 1970’s. She has a BA from the University of Mount Union and MA from Kent State University. She has worked in nursing homes, Mature Services, Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority, the Area Agency on Aging, and for 26 years as Vice President of Services for Info Line Inc. In addition, Sue taught Social Services And Cultural Diversity at the University of Mount Union part time for 14 years. She was a Licensed Social Worker, a graduate of Leadership Akron and served as the Chair of the Continuum of Care for the Homeless for 15 years. Now retired, Sue is the President of the Advisory Board at The Salvation Army, the Board VP at One of A Kind Pet Rescue and President Elect of Greenleaf Family Center.
