Our family support programs assist Akron's families in the following ways:.
- PEERS — Trained peer advocates support parents of children with complex behavioral health needs navigate systems on behalf of their children.
- Family Success Network — FSN coaches support families through positive parenting, financial literacy and support, and community connections.
- Family First Steps — Home-based support for families with children, 0-3, that promotes optimal early childhood development and learning.
- Kids' Safety Supplies — Provides essential safety and early childhood supplies for families with young children, ages 0–5.
- Workforce Supports — Assists families with workforce essentials and
emergency kits.
