Intervention in Lieu of Conviction (IILC) Clinician (Part-time, 18-22 hours per week)
The Intervention in Lieu of Conviction (IILC) Clinician is independently licensed and will provide assessment services for individuals referred to the Summit County Court of Common Pleas’ IILC Program. This role involves managing and scheduling referrals when the Court identifies substance use, mental illness, intellectual disability, human trafficking, and/or compelled prostitution as factors leading to an individual’s criminal charge(s). Eligibility for the program is determined by the criteria outlined in ORC 2951.04.1.
The IILC Clinician serves as an external representative of Greenleaf Family Center, maintaining responsive and clear lines of communication with Judges and Court Administrators. The role requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate program statistics and detailed documentation. The IILC Clinician must demonstrate discretion, knowing when to escalate issues to supervisors, and can work independently with minimal supervision. This position is housed at the Summit County Courthouse.
